2025/26 PCAHA Female AA League Announcement

by | Jan 9, 2025

The PCAHA Female Hockey Committee is excited to announce the Female AA Elite Hockey League for the 2025 – 2026 season.

PCAHA, in collaboration with minor hockey associations, is thrilled to provide competitive U13 and U15 athletes with a high-performance hockey experience to grow and develop within a sanctioned hockey environment.

The Program Mandate:

  • Provide opportunities for high-performance female hockey players.
  • Foster growth and development of female hockey, allowing players to remain within Hockey Canada and BC Hockey-sanctioned programming.
  • Provide a pathway of excellence for players seeking to play U18 AAA, collegiate hockey, or to maximize their potential.
  • Provide female athletes with a positive environment and engaging experience.

The program provides the following opportunities for participating athletes:

  • Zoned Teams Across the Lower Mainland (2 teams based in the “Valley” and 2 teams based in the “Coast” regions)
  • 2 to 3 weekly practices with weekend games following a BCEHL/CSSHL/College-based regular season schedule.
  • Program schedule that runs from late August 2025 to Spring Break 2026
  • Off-Ice Dryland Sessions
  • 2 Travel Tournaments
  • Experienced Coaches
  • Program Apparel & Gear
  • Non-profit costing relative to other high-performance options
